  • Nanba Betsuin (also known as “Minamimido”), a temple in the Otani sect of Shin Buddhism, will be transformed into a high-rise complex in November 2019 with the rebuilding of its enshrinement hall. This building will also be home to Osaka’s first Excel Hotel Tokyu. Based on the concept of “Osaka kaleidoscope,” this hotel will be located in the Midosuji Honmachi area that offers easy access to various parts of Osaka. The interior will feature a lively, gorgeous, surprising atmosphere evoking Osaka’s history and culture. Guests can enjoy kaleidoscope-like nighttime scenery from the high-level floors.
