  • “teamLab Planets TOKYO DMM.com” has realized an unprecedented artistic experience where people don’t watch artworks from outside but immerse their entire bodies in and become one with them. It has become a hot destination where everyone can enjoy digital artworks regardless of their nationality, age, and gender.
  • The facility houses four ultra-large spaces and two gardens that display artworks, respectively. People will walk barefoot through these spaces and immerse themselves in various works appearing in front of them one after another. For instance, the floor of a space is covered with shallow water. On the surface of it, an artwork titled “Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People – Infinity” is being shown, which keeps changing endlessly by a computer program at real time. Countless carps are swimming on the surface and influenced by movements of people walking in the water and also of other carps. When the fish collide with people, they turn into flowers and scatter. Only this facility can give people such a sense of excitement by showing a variety of experience-based artworks in succession. Since there are artworks in the public area, too, people can experience them without entering inside. Thus, we would like to recommend you to feel free to drop by.
