- Otaru Art Base is a complex facility that uses historical buildings and tangible cultural assets to exhibit art. Among them, the Stained Glass Museum is a renovation of the former Takahashi Warehouse. The museum exhibits about 98 pieces of stained glass that were made in England between the end of the 19 century and the beginning of the 20 century and were displayed in churches. There are also works based on biblical themes, such as “The Last Supper” and “The Prodigal Son”, while others depict scenes from “The Canterbury Tales”.
